If you're new to TeeTimeHelper, one of the first things to understand is that Admins and Members see different versions of the event page.
This is intentional.
Members only need the tools required to RSVP and view event information. Admins need the ability to organize the event, manage players, and make changes when necessary.
Understanding this difference will make it much easier to use TeeTimeHelper.
Members: Simple and Easy
Most people in your group are Members.
Their experience is designed to be as simple as possible.
Members can:
View upcoming events
RSVP for themselves
Edit their own RSVP
View the player list and tee sheet
Receive notifications and messages
Print the tee sheet
(Optional) Add additional members if you've enabled that permission
One thing new admins often notice is that members only have one Edit button—the one next to their own RSVP.
They cannot edit anyone else's RSVP or make changes to the event.

Admins: Full Control
Admins have complete control over the event.
You'll immediately notice that the screen looks different because edit buttons appear throughout the page.
Admins can:
Unlike members, admins are never limited to editing only their own RSVP.
If someone calls or texts you saying they can't update their RSVP, you can simply make the change for them.
The Admin Tools Section
One of the biggest differences you'll notice is the Admin Tools panel.
This section contains shortcuts for the tasks you'll perform most often, including:

Batch Edit RSVPs
Copy Event
Lock / Unlock Event
Randomize Event
Print Tee Sheet
Remove Event
These tools are only visible to admins.
Members never see this section.
What Members See Instead
Members don't see Admin Tools.
Instead, they see Event Tools, which is a much smaller set of options.

Typically, Event Tools include:

This keeps the interface clean and prevents accidental changes.
The Admin Tools Menu
Admins also have access to an additional Admin Tools drop-down menu.
This menu includes advanced features that aren't needed during everyday event management, such as:
These reporting and management tools are available only to admins.
Locked Events
Another important distinction is how locked events work.
When an event is locked:
Members can no longer change their RSVP.
Admins can still edit every RSVP.
Admins can unlock the event at any time.
Admins can continue making changes as needed.
This allows you to freeze the event before play while still giving organizers the flexibility to handle last-minute changes.
Choosing Additional Admins
You can assign additional admins whenever needed.
This is useful if:
Your group has multiple organizers.
Someone else handles weekly tee times.
You want another person to send messages or manage RSVPs while you're unavailable.
Admins have the same permissions as the original event creator, so only assign admin status to people you trust to manage the event.
