A new TeeTimeHelper update is here for iOS and Android. It brings full support for larger system text sizes, a new horizontal logo that gives your events and messages more room, and a round of cleanup under the hood.
Bigger text, no more display glitches
TeeTimeHelper now fully supports the larger font sizes you can choose in your phone's system settings. Whatever text size you've picked on iOS or Android, the app adjusts to match.
Before this update, choosing an extra-large font could make some screens display in unexpected ways. Those issues have all been corrected. If you've been holding off on larger text because of how TeeTimeHelper looked, go ahead and turn it up.
Where to find the setting:
- iPhone: Settings → Display & Brightness → Text Size. For the largest sizes, go to Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Larger Text.
- Android: Settings → Display → Font size. The exact wording varies by phone maker.
A new, wider logo
Eagle-eyed users may notice the TeeTimeHelper logo has a new shape. It's now more horizontal, so it takes up less room on screen. That space goes to what you open the app for: your events and messages, with more of them visible at a glance.
Polish and performance
We've also tidied up a number of small cosmetic details throughout the app. Behind the scenes, we've updated the libraries TeeTimeHelper is built on, so things run better even where you can't see the changes.
Get the update
The new version is available now in the App Store and Google Play. If your phone doesn't update apps automatically, open the store, find TeeTimeHelper, and tap Update.
