Export to CSV Now Available in the TeeTimeHelper Mobile & Tablet App

Good news! The Export to CSV feature is now fully available in the TeeTimeHelper app for both mobile phones and tablets.

Just like the desktop version, you can now export your event data directly from the app and open it in your favorite spreadsheet program.

When you export a CSV file, the app downloads it as a file and your device will automatically prompt you to choose which application you'd like to open it with. This works on:

  • Android phones and tablets
  • iPhones
  • iPads

You can open the exported file in spreadsheet apps such as Excel, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, or any other compatible app installed on your device.

Accessing the feature is easy:

Admin Tools → Event Options → Export CSV

As with the desktop version, you can choose from two export formats:

  • One group per row — ideal for viewing complete tee times together

  • One user per row
    — perfect for sorting, filtering, and importing into spreadsheets or other systems

This gives you the same flexibility you already have on desktop, now conveniently available on your mobile devices.

We know many administrators manage events while away from their computers, and this update makes it much easier to download, share, and work with event data wherever you are.

Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Top 5 Reasons to Download the TeeTimeHelper App

Top 5 Reasons to Download the TeeTimeHelper App

Managing golf outings, leagues, and tee times should be simple. The TeeTimeHelper app makes it easier for golfers and organizers to stay connected and organized — without digging through emails or missing important updates.

1. Receive Push Notifications That Don’t Get Lost in Email Filters

Email invitations and updates can easily end up in spam folders, promotions tabs, or buried under hundreds of unread messages.

With the TeeTimeHelper app, members receive instant push notifications directly on their phones. Whether it’s a new event invitation, a schedule change, or an important announcement, notifications appear immediately — no worrying about mail filters or missed emails.

2. Instant Access from Your Home Screen

Instead of:

  • searching for an old email,
  • opening a browser,
  • typing in a website,
  • and navigating through pages…

Users can simply tap the TeeTimeHelper icon on their home screen and instantly view:

  • upcoming golf events,
  • RSVP status,
  • tee times,
  • event details,
  • and announcements.

It’s faster, easier, and more convenient — especially when checking schedules on the go.

3. Works Alongside the Web Version

The app doesn’t replace the web version — it complements it.

Members can use the mobile app when they’re on the course or away from their computer, while still accessing the full web version from desktops, laptops, or other devices whenever needed.

This flexibility makes it easy to manage events from anywhere:

  • phone,
  • tablet,
  • home computer,
  • or office workstation.

Everything stays synchronized across devices.

4. Faster RSVPs and Better Participation

When members receive immediate notifications and can access events with a single tap, they’re more likely to respond quickly.

That means:

  • fewer reminder emails,
  • less chasing down players,
  • better attendance tracking,
  • and smoother event planning for organizers.

Quick responses help golf groups stay organized and avoid last-minute confusion.

5. A Better Experience for Your Entire Golf Group

The TeeTimeHelper app gives your group a more modern and professional experience.

Instead of scattered texts and emails, everyone has one central place for:

  • event information,
  • schedules,
  • updates,
  • RSVP tracking,
  • and communication.

Whether you run a weekly foursome, a large golf league, or charity outings, the app helps simplify coordination for everyone involved.

Final Thoughts

The TeeTimeHelper app was designed to make organizing and participating in golf events easier, faster, and more reliable.

With push notifications, one-tap access, cross-device support, and streamlined event management, it helps golf groups spend less time coordinating — and more time golfing.

Cleaner, More Flexible Member Stats in TeeTimeHelper

Cleaner, More Flexible Member Stats in TeeTimeHelper

We’ve made some thoughtful improvements to the Member Stats page in TeeTimeHelper to give admins more flexibility while keeping the interface simple and easy to use.

A cleaner way to choose time ranges

Previously, switching between different reporting periods required clicking through text links. That’s now been replaced with a single pulldown menu, making it faster and more intuitive to explore your data.

You can now instantly view stats across a wider range of durations:

  • 1 month
  • 2 months
  • 3 months
  • 6 months
  • 1 year
  • 5 years
  • All time

This not only cleans up the layout, but also adds more useful timeframes—especially for longer-term groups that want deeper insights.

Instant refresh on selection

When you change the duration, the page automatically refreshes to show updated results. There’s no extra clicking or submitting—just select and view.

Percentage vs. raw counts

We’ve also added a second pulldown that lets you switch between:

  • Percentage view – great for comparing participation rates
  • Raw counts – useful for seeing exact numbers

This gives you better control over how you interpret your group’s activity.

How to access Member Stats

To find the updated page:

  1. Go to Admin Tools
  2. Select Members
  3. Click Stats

Why this matters

These changes are all about making the stats page:

  • Easier to navigate
  • More powerful for analysis
  • Less cluttered visually

You get more options, faster access, and a cleaner interface—all without adding complexity.

If you have suggestions for additional stats or views, keep them coming!

Smarter Scheduling with Time Zones in TeeTimeHelper

If you’ve ever organized a golf event across different locations—or even just while traveling—you know how quickly time zone confusion can creep in. A tee time that looks perfect on your screen can end up being off by an hour (or more) for your group. That’s exactly the kind of friction TeeTimeHelper is designed to eliminate.

We’ve recently improved how time zones are handled when scheduling events, making the entire process clearer, more consistent, and far less error-prone.

How Time Zones Work Now

When you create an event in TeeTimeHelper, the time zone is automatically set based on your device or desktop clock at that moment. This ensures your event starts with an accurate local reference.

But here’s where things get smarter:

  • The time zone now stays with the event
  • It carries over when you copy an event
  • It’s clearly displayed during scheduling

You’ll now see labels like EST, CST, MST, or PST directly in the scheduling interface, so there’s no ambiguity about when invites will be sent.

Why This Matters

1. Clear Communication

Previously, the time zone wasn’t visible, and scheduling relied entirely on your system clock. Now, with the time zone displayed, admins know exactly what “5:00 PM” means.

2. Consistency Across Events

If you copy an event (which many organizers do for recurring games), the original time zone comes with it.

3. Travel-Proof Scheduling

This is a big one. If you’re traveling and your device switches time zones, TeeTimeHelper won’t suddenly shift your event times. New events you create will continue using the same time zone as your previous ones, keeping everything consistent for your group back home.

These updates bring two major improvements:

  • Visibility – You can now clearly see the time zone when scheduling.
  • Stability – Time zones persist across copied events and aren’t affected by device changes.

Together, this means fewer mistakes, fewer questions from your group, and a smoother experience for everyone involved.
