Lock your Event Immediately or on a Schedule

Locking your event is a great way for the organizer to maintain control of his/her outing. Locking the event with TeeTimeHelper prevents members from changing their RSVP.  However, this does not affect the organizer as he/she still has full access.

As the organizer, you may wish to lock your event to prevent players from dropping out, or changing their minds. This might come in handy to avoid cancellation fees or you need to submit your tee sheet to the golf course by a particular date/time.

As a convenience, you can lock your event immediately or schedule the lock to occur a set number of hours before the first tee time. For example, if your golf course has a 24 hour cancellation policy you can schedule your event to be locked automatically. This allows you to set up the event in advance without having to remember to lock it at a certain time.

Schedule Messages with TeeTimeHelper

The Schedule Messages feature allows TeeTimeHelper admins to preset messages for their events. For example, you may wish to remind your users 24 hour advance notice is required. Scheduled messages allows you to add your message into the queue to be delivered on a particular day.

Under the familiar "Send Message" option you can create a new message or view the Message Queue. From there you can edit messages, remove messages, or reschedule.

If you have any questions please contact us.

Ask your Golf Group a Question when they RSVP

Several TeeTimeHelper admins e-mailed us asking how to add a custom question to their members when they RSVP.

For example, it may be helpful to know if your members are  walking or riding. Or perhaps you would like to know if they are staying for lunch.

We now have the solution - you can add Custom Questions and Answer Choices to your event. On the event creation page click on "Add a Custom Question" and you will be presented with the following fields:

You specify the question and answers your members can select

Your questions and answers are presented to your users in a drop down display - they must select one of your answer choices to RSVP yes for the event.

Your members see this dropdown when they RSVP

On the event status page you will see the answers next to each golfer in parenthesis:

Your status page indicates the answers selected

Custom Question and Answer Choices Tips

1. Be brief! Short questions and short answers are best. There is limited space to display the answer for each members so a one or two word answer is desirable.

2. Avoid Yes/No Questions. It's much easier to interpret the answer on the status page as "Walking" instead of "Yes"

3. The Question and Answer Choices are editable at any time, but please avoid changing the question or answer choices. The members who already responded will keep their original choice and have it displayed, so changing the question or answers can cause confusion.

As always, send us a message if you have any questions!

All Your TeeTimeHelper Events in One Place

One of our best features is the "Events" page. Every e-mail you receive from TeeTimeHelper not only contains a link to the specific event but also a button for all your events.

In fact, it's just a general link which will show your events:

http://www.TeeTimeHelper.com/events

And all your events will be listed. If your events are not shown then you are using a different web browser than viewing our previous events.

We hope this will be a useful feature for you.
